TORONTO, ONTARIO (June 1, 2019) Polo For Heart, the largest and longest charity polo event in Canada supporting Heart & Stroke and The Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation presents world class polo games with players from Argentina, United States and Canada on June 20 and 22.  Now in its 40th year the event attracts 4500+ individuals over the 2 days and has raised over $6 million for heart disease and stroke treatment and research.  The weekend festivities will kick-off Thursday, June 20 with “Polo Under The Stars”, a glitzy celebration where polo will be played in the evening.  Tickets and tables for Polo Under The Stars and Polo For Heart can be purchased online at
Polo For Heart continues to honour the legacy of its founder Colonel Michael Sifton began by supporting heart disease & stroke related charities. The proceeds will benefit Heart & Stroke, helping them achieve their important mission to prevent heart disease and stroke, save lives, and promote recovery for survivors. Funds will also be allocated to The Southlake Regional Health Centre’s Regional Cardiac Care Program, making leading-edge care possible for more than 10,000 patients every year when they need it most.

The event will take place at the beautiful scenic Toronto Polo Club located at 13561 Leslie Street in Richmond Hill.  New for this year is an all-weather venue that promises fantastic polo action, rain or shine, and an amazing elevated view.  Guests will experience two unique action-packed days of horses, thrills and entertainment.  Back by popular is summer’s hottest event “Polo Under The Stars on June 21st which has been a tremendous success and has sold out every each.  This year’s event will be a white theme with a splash of red and features two international polo matches, live entertainment, Juno nominated jazz singer George St. Kitts, silent and live auction, classical dressage riding master Frank Grelo riding dressage stallions to music, the best hat contest to be judged by CTV’s The Social’s Melissa Grelo and David Dunkley,  and will conclude with an after party with dancing.  
“Polo For Heart” on June 22nd will feature two international polo games, Canadian Cowgirls, live entertainment, silent auction, boutiques, perfect polo picnic and best hat contests, equine education centre, BMO kids village with and much more.
